This policy describes how Growdoku ("we", "the app", "the site") handles information when you play at growdoku.com or in our mobile apps.
Information stored on your device
Game progress (completed levels, times, garden state, settings) is stored locally in your browser or app using local storage. We do not require an account to play.
Third-party advertising
We show ads through Google and its advertising partners. On the website we use Google AdSense; in our mobile apps we use Google AdMob. We do not sell your personal information.
Those partners may collect and use data to deliver, measure, and personalize ads, including for tracking purposes (for example, to show relevant ads on other apps and sites). Under Apple's and Google's definitions, some of this data may be linked to your device or identity for advertising, even though Growdoku does not ask for your name or email to play.
Types of data that may be collected for third-party advertising include:

Growdoku does not receive this advertising data directly. Collection and use are governed by Google's policies and partners. Learn more at Google Advertising Policies and Google Privacy Policy.
On iOS, the app may request permission to track activity across other companies' apps and websites for personalized advertising (App Tracking Transparency). You can decline; ads may still appear in a less personalized form.
Premium purchase removes ads in the mobile app. The website may still show ads unless you use an ad blocker.
Cookies and personalized advertising
Google and other third-party advertising vendors use cookies and similar technologies on growdoku.com, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve, measure, and personalize ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may collect or receive information from your browser or device when ads are served. Google uses this data to provide advertising services and may combine it with other information Google holds about you.
You can control personalized advertising in several ways:

Cloud sync (optional)
If enabled, progress may be synced to our backend using an anonymous device identifier. No name or email is required for this feature. Cloud sync is separate from advertising data above and is not enabled in all builds.
Error reporting
The app may send anonymous JavaScript error reports to Microsoft Azure Application Insights so we can fix crashes. These reports contain technical details such as error messages and stack traces. We do not send your name, email, game progress, or advertising identifiers with error reports, and we do not use cookies for this feature. This is separate from ad partner diagnostics listed above.
In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details.
Children
Growdoku is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
